Forza Horizon 4 will be taken off digital stores in December 2024 including Steam. The game is currently on Sale on Steam, about 80% off the original price.
The game is being delisted because the game developers do not have the rights to some of the cars in the game anymore.
However, if you already own the game you can still play it. If you don’t own the game yet, it is the perfect time to buy it since it is on sale.
Alot of new players recently purchased the game but they ended up getting the Memory Leak error right after they launched the game.
There is a simple workaround for this issue so incase you are thinking about refunding the game first try this solution, if it does not work, you can refund it.
Fix Forza Horizon 4 Memory Leak
All you need to do is open Steam, go to your game library, right-click on Forza Horizon 4, and then click on manage from there select the browse local files option. It will open your game folder. Now look for a file called TargetHardwareProfiler.dll.
Delete the file and then close the folder, head back to Steam, and open the game. You won’t be getting the memory leak or out-of-video memory error anymore in Forza Horizon 4.
